what is the clock rate of a processor in hertz??..hmm.. like i am supposed to knw this!!.. i m just happy to be able to operate my PC…. why would i wanna knw wat speed it is in hertz??..ok..but seeeriously how did he even measure clock rate in hertz???i mean its not an ac signal to have some sorta frequency n stuff..but i m sure thrz a very nerdy explaination to this question…i really dont care..but u knw..wen i was asked this question in class…it mattered..if nothin it woke me up from my sleep!!…my teacher was looking at me like i was supposed to be embarrased for my lack of knowledge in computers n its working!!…for god’s sake he looks like an over grown school boy himself…his voice is not loud enough to reach the 2nd benchers…n he was almost shivering while asking me a question!!… he is new to teaching…poor fella…i felt sooo sorry for him… specially when he asked the same question to evry1 else in the class only to find out 9 out of 10 of them were fast asleep!!….but just to save his face he continued to lecture me on how much more serious i have gotta be about his subject n all…. oh..please thrz a reason why i am not majoring in computers…. i hate it all.. its way too vague for me to undersatnd any of the programs or the even the assembly langauges for tht matter… but i am like stuck witht this subject for this semester… i just need to get thru it.. i dont necessarily need to knw how it works n stuff… so well anyway… tht one hour in CO class was the longest hour i have ever lived…. there CANNOT be a more monotonous voice than tht of my CO lecturer.!!!…was never more happy to hear the bell go off…. it was such a sigh of relief for the entire class!!… while he was lecturing me for more than 10mins i couldn’t help but wonder bout the things he told me…it all seemed like something he would have probably wanted to tell himself back wen he was studyin..coz u knw if he was any good at all..he would have been workin in a software firm gettin a big paycheck!!… pity him all the more now!!… oh n btw the clock rate of a present generation computer is about 2.8 Ghz!!!….please dont ask me wat tht means..!!
